Need suggestions.
wish is was easy to do. if i had a lift it wouldn't be a problem. but for a guy like me laying on the ground and horrible grip, it's not so easy. may just have to wait this one out for the restrictions to ease up. but i'll have the mechanic check your suggestions
Ok, I managed to find a wiring schematic, it's of a 2015 manual but I believe 2011-2016 are all the same. Any ways it appear that your main fuse is blown and there is only 3 things that can cause that,
1) Body Control Module issue
2) ABS Module issue
3) Voltage Regulator (internal short)
I would bet that it's the Voltage regulator. 2012"s were a known issue. Down on the bottom of your frame down tubes is the voltage regulator. It has 2 connectors coming into it from the back side. The 2 wire connector is the power feed off of the main 40a fuse. Disconnect that and then try a new 40a main fuse. It can't be the starter because it's before the main fuse..

I hope you get this worked out.

Mine did have the recall, but i didn't know about it because when i bought the bike from a private seller, he didn't turn in his paperwork to the dmv. So i don't get notices for anything about my bike. So i replaced the voltage regulator myself. I didn't use a stock on. I would love to take it to my regular shop, but since he is in maryland and i'm in delaware, crossing the border without papers and good reason will get you a 5,000 dollar fine until the restrictions are lifted. They have state police at the main borders. And i've been going to the same shop for 15 years, i've never had an issue with them. i would like to diagnose the problem, but everything i have tried hasn't worked. Which is why i may just end up waiting. Although on the next sunny day i'm gonna take the time to take the regulator back off, clean it and see if that helps.
Replaced with what? Stock again? I would highly recommend Cycle Electric....
