Default Headlight Upgrade

The stock headlamp bulbs on my 2000 FLHSTC are the sealed beam type which do not do a good job of illuminating. I don’t want to move to LED but I believe there are bulb options which give brighter illumination without going to LED. My bike has stock headlight and passing lights.
Thanks for any ideas

@Wagondog
Why do you not want to move to LED's?

Is it more likely they just need to adjusted to spec as opposed to being too bright?

I bought the Sunpie kit (headlight, 2x passing lamps) off Amazon a couple years back for my Heritage. I absolutely, completely, totally love them. I can see, I never need the high beams (they add nothing, anyway), and I know I'm being seen.

Thanks for all the good ideas and opinions. All I wanted to do was get a brighter headlight than the stock Sylvania Halogen. Spent several hours looking at options and reading reviews. This is what I came up with .....the LED set I ordered on Amazon had loads of good reviews and nothing negative. I’m getting the LED passing lights with the 7” LED headlamp. The $119 price means if it doesn’t work as expected i throw it into the parts box in the garage and start over. Now I’m going to make you all laugh.....haven’t ridden the bike at night yet, Harley owners are a strange breed!

I used a Sealight, $40, off Amazon easy peasy to install. Very bright but haven't ridden it at night yet.

How you upgraded is how I planned to move forward except my headlamp is a sealed beam with no

provision of sticking an LED bulb in the back
