I have a Harley fat boy flstfb 2011 and I bought a new LED light to replace the stock headlight. When I put it in I did not put the adjustment bracket and ring in and the light was shining too high. After I took it back apart and tried to install the bracket and ring the bracket would not fit into the headlight housing/cowl because it was too big but I got the right LED and I was just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this or what I can do. Below is the bracket and ring that I have. Thank you.
I believe that bracket is for another model Harley. I have a non-Halo Hogworkz headlight and didn't use the bracket. I have a '13 Fat Boy. My light wasn't shining high. Make sure the light isn't upside down.
I installed one in my 2016 Breakout and there was no ring like the one you showed. That ring looks to be for a touring model. My Halo maker just sat inside the housing and held in place by an edge clamp. Adjustment was made by slightly loosening the mounting bolts for the headlight and moving it into proper position and then tightening the bolts back up.
