I have a C&C also. It puts you lower in the saddle and moves you back away from the bars quite considerably over the stock seat. The seat is pretty comfy though, no issues with it. A LePera Bare Bones is the only other solo I have prior experience with. It's a good looking solo as well, puts you a little lower, and a little farther back. It takes the seat longer to break in though and (in my opinion) was not as comfortable on longer rides. Both are good looking seats though.
I was thinking about a solo seat too. My buddy has HD's Brawler and it's a little too firm for me.
What do you guys use to cover the holes in the rear fender? The metal rivots the delaer showed me are too little and the rubber ones that are already on there are fugly. I saw the color matched panel tail piece that goes on there but that thing is huge.
