Default FXCWC brake light

I am looking to replace my rear turn signals/brake light on my 2010 FXCWC Rocker. I understand that the rear lighting system on this bike is 6 volts instead of the standard 12 volts of most other bikes. I already have a custom dynamics smart signal stabilizer (https://www.customdynamics.com/unive...load-equalizer) that I added when I changed out the front signals. My question is can I just swap the rear lights with aftermarket lights that are meant for a 12 volt system or do I need to do something else to make it work?
