I have 2004 FLSTCi Heritage Softail Classic. I have removed the pillion seat and sissy bar but would like to fit a Solo Luggage Rack but for the life of me cannot find a compatible rack to fit with 04 standard seat.
Is there something out there or can I adapt the rear fender to accept another rack that matches the curve of the rear fender like the one in the attached picture?
Found this example, think its 03 100th Anniversary with the type of rack I would like.
Motherwell MWL-151MB successfully fitted to my 2004 FLSTCi Heritage Softail.
Used original rear seat nut and under the seat there was a plastic bung in the ecu mount that lined up, it’s not perfect but it’s solid and not going anywhere. I removed the pillion pad from the standard seat to make it solo and it sits nicely on top of the rack rails, so when my weight is on it, it’s even more secure.
