Default 8” rise T-bars question

Hello everyone. New member here and I am ordering parts to put a set of 8” rise T-bars on my first Harley I’ve purchased from my father. I’ve got the bars and I’ve got wiring extensions ordered. The last bit of information I need is whether or not I will need to get extended Clutch and Throttle cables? As well as a extended front brake line? I come from the world of dirtbikes and I’m a pretty good mechanic but harleys are a different breed to me and I wanna get it right. This is going on a 2005 Softail Standard EFI. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes you will ha e to get all new cables also the original are made for a 3 in rise at the max. And honestly I would buy the 43" cable set AMD cut rhem it length instead of the set that you piece them togather. Less chance of any failures.

I have a 2004 softail standard and put drag specialties buffalo risers with 9.5'' rise on it and only had to buy an extended brake line, everything else was fine.

Thanks for the replies. I was looking at the cables and brake lines available online but kept getting confused. Just from looking at the bike it seems like the stock cables and brake line are just long enough for the stock bars. I might just go ahead and buy all the stuff just to have it on hand and see what I may need as I go. I’ll leave it all in the packaging and what I don’t use I can return

I replaced all cables and used Namz wire extension to route the wires thru bars brake line and clutch cable to get them where I wanted them.
