Value for totalled bike?
If it was not totaled then different game. It could be cleaned up and sold. Depending how good a job you do 4-.5000. But it would need to be cleaned up and running well. I would not put a dime in until you are sure she has a clean title.

IMHO......
In good shape with up to date maintenance (including the cam tensioner upgrade), it may bring $5,500.... But it's a buyers market and there are a lot of good, low mileage, well kept bikes on the market... I think for a quick sell, you'd need to take $5,000 or a little less.... IF it was in good condition and well maintained... this one IS NOT...
If your suspicions are correct, and it has a salvage title... knock off at least half that amount....
Now add that you have no idea on maintenance, it was "rode hard & put away wet", and it probably needs everything from tires (out dated if not worn), all new engine fluids, filters, brake fluid flush, and quite frankly looks to be in poor condition from the pics.... you should take the first offer @/over $1,500 and sell it "as is, history unknown".....
Sorry about your loss, but that bike could be a major headache or possibly a decent old rider..... but no one will ever know unless they are willing to gamble and are not afraid to get their hands dirty, real dirty...
Good luck with your decision...

I would not even consider purchasing a motorcycle without a clear title. Probably going to cost you some time and effort tracking down the paperwork and getting things straight. Good Luck.
