I have 3 Rinehart slip-ons, they are good quality mufflers but not as deep a sound as I wanted.
I am considering installing the V&H slip-ons with the quiet baffles to hopefully get that deeper sound. Listening to on-line sound clips doesnt really help make a decision.

Will the V&Hs deliver the deeper sound?
I'm not new to HDForums but I am new to the pre-2018 Softail forum, as I just purchased a 2017 Heritage Classic. The bike I bought has V&H 3" Twin Slash slip-ons. The bike is completely stock. The V&H on mine are pretty deep and very loud. In my older age, I am wanting something quieter. I am wondering if the Rineharts would be quieter than the V&H? Are your Rineharts on a stock motor?
The Deluxe is a stock motor with aftermarket air filter. Would not believe the Rineharts to be quieter than the V&Hs. Screaming Eagles would be a quieter option.

I've had Rhineharts on a previous bike and they were too loud. I now have Screaming Eagles on my Heritage and I like them.
I always use Vance & Hines on Softails and Reinharts on touring bikes. I just like the sound of them. On my 2020 M8 motor I went with Tab mufflers and started with the Zombie baffles but felt like I lost low end and they were way loud, so I switched over to the 2 1/2 baffles and they are better on the low end but much quieter.
Decided to move forward with a set of Khrome Werks slip ons. From all Ive read and heard on line they provide a deep sound and a somewhat conservative db level.

At idle...until you twist it up. But not obnoxiously loud and raspy and they don't sound like an elephant farting.
Good choice. The quality is the best there is.
