Default 98 fatboy

I am looking at a 98 fatboy that I saw on craigslist. It is owned by the original owner and has been in his heated basement and not ridden for close to 20 years. It has 3800 miles and the dealer just went thru the bike, fuel system included and has given it a clean bill health. The bike is in excellent shape. It has V&H straight pipes on it with baffles. Otherwise it is pure stock. I assume it is jetted properly as it ran perfect. The owner let me take it out for an hour. Here's my question - what is it worth? I hope I haven't violated any forum rules by asking. I can look up all the blue book prices on the internet but also realize they might not be accurate.

$5000/$6000.
How old are the tires?

"not ridden for close to 20 years"... Don't think they cared enough to take it out to change the tires. Look at the 4 digit numbers behind the DOT Stamp. 1st two digits are the week and the last two are the year of production. What are they asking for it?

I'd try to hand those bills over quickly. After wiping the drool off! You could put a grand into it and ride it or flip now for an easy two grand.

yea thinking $4-5k range. If its been sitting there that long I'd guess they'd take a lower offer just to get rid of it.

Would definitely put new rubber on it and fluid change all around including brakes.

pics would be good.
