After riding the Springer pretty much stock for the last couple of years, I feel it is time to start a few mods. Of course being beaten by a Kendal Johnson S&S motored chopper last weekend "may" have pushed me into it. Basically came in second at bike event speed run by 2 mph. He ran 96 mph and I came in at 94 mph over their set course.
So after a call to Fuelmoto, we are going with the S&S Stealth Air Cleaner and a Vance & Hines Pro Pipe with a Dyno Jet Power Vision tuner from Fuelmoto with one of their custom tunes. Can't wait to see how this all turns out. If it isn't enough it will be time for a cam upgrade......

Ha... welcome to the rabbit hole... you are about to fall in...! Those of us with the "need more power" sickness welcome you aboard...
I think you will feel a good little bump with the Stage I, but to go for more, you may need to do more than a drop in cam, like with other OEM engines.
I'm sure Fuelmoto can give you proper guidance, but I have read that due to the low compression of the OEM HD 110 engines (about 9.2:1, I believe that's what you have) there are not a lot of "bolt-in" cams that will give good bang for the buck increases in performance, with that displacement/compression combination. I have read where some shops recommend using higher compression pistons in 110" engines, to open up the cam choices for an appreciable gain over a Stage I... Something worth doing a little research on...
Enjoy the new power, and report back your impressions...
So Fuelmoto got my parts to me pretty quick. Had everything in hand by Thursday. Not bad when I ordered stuff on Monday and it was all here so quick. Anyway, got the new A/C on and installed the exhaust and uploaded the tune they sent me that was preloaded on my Dynovision tuner and it was ready to go. All together probably spent 3 hours or so in the garage.
The results... holy crap, this bike starts pulling at about 2 grand and then just pulls like a freight train to redline. Definitely felt a big improvement on the bottom end with the new torque curve. Looking to do a cam next, yes the bug has hit me hard..... Added a pic for your viewing pleasure....
I did the Stage 1 on my bike with the 96 engine. Did the air cleaner and the bike already had VH exhaust. Got the Powervision from Fuelmoto with a tune for my mods. I like it but I'm gonna do the whole camchest deal: cams, oil pump, tensioners, lifters and pushrods. What the hell, it's only money!
