Red Dot / Light on Speedo / Dash
2012 Softail, searched google, this forum, and manual. Apparently it indicates there's an electrical issue somewhere. Which was true, my running light was going out intermittently which correlated with the red dot. So figured it wouldn't hurt to upgrade to LEDs and switched the OEM filament to LED. Running light now works, but red dot is still there? could it be because the voltage the LED is pulling is different from the original filament? I also checked all other lights, they work. I also have the auxiliary light setup (normally found on deluxe?) installed on my fatboy with the OEM turn signals at the handlebars, but don't think it could be that because when the red light was on / off, it only happened with the running light was on / off. Thoughts of anything else to check? or just leave as is as it's based on some voltage threshold
