I have a red indicator light on my speedo after I installed Radiantz LED lighting all around my bike. Everything functions properly, just get aggravated seeing that light go off and on intermittently.
I know this is related to adding the LED's since they don't draw as much as the standard bulbs. Will adding a stabilizer fix this problem and which one do I need.
As I said....signals all work, flashing at normal rates, signal indicator is also normal. Been dealing with it for 6 months, gotta fix it.
Yes, it's because of the low draw for your added LED's and the bike will continue throwing this code unless you add the load equalizer. Radiantz should have one they can recommend, or go to Custom Dynamics.

wish I thought of this when I just ordered my accent lighting from CD. Guess gives me a reason to ride over there, only 75 miles away
Your 2013 CanBUS wired system will operate LED signals and taillights, but the signal indicators on the dash will simply flash faster. The red light in your speedo is the light intended for the security system. This illuminates as you described when the BCU (Body Control Module) fails. Mine did it and so did several others with 2013 model bikes.
The BCU failure was likely caused by the change to LED lights, but the resister is not going to fix the problem. You will need a new BCU and it should be covered by warranty.

Same thing happened to me. The moco started using the BCM in 2012. When mine failed the bike wouldn't even run properly.
