Default Cow bell modification

I was wondering if anyone has notched the inner side of the cow bells on their lowered bikes. My wife is 4'10", and I am going to lower the front of her fatboy. I don't want the fender to contact the cow bells on a hard bump.

Taking a guess you mean the slider covers.
Looks like bike has been lowered already.
The challenge with removing material is rust.
The raw exposed area will be exposed.
Looks like the tool bag is rather low too and can easily dent fender.

So I looked those part numbers up at Surdyke Right 47718-07, Left 47728-07.

It appears that they have been discontinued.

The stock cowbells are stainless steel and rust shouldn’t be an issue.
