I’m looking to install a set of DK Vied cables on my 2011 Heritage and I’m having difficulty with locating the connector where the rear O2 sensor connects to. I had a set on my Ultra and everything fit into the side cover. I’ve followed the o2 lead under the oil tank but cannot see where it plugs into. A call to DK didn’t provide much help as far as a particular model install. Has anyone installed a set on their heritage and what problems have you incurred. Front isn’t an issue but accessing the rear o2 plug is. Does the battery need to be removed for access? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks
When I had a Vied on my Heritage before changing to the Power Vision tuner there were no issues with either connector. The front O2 sensor connector is behind the voltage regulator and the rear connector is under the seat. The battery does not need to be removed.
You just have to find the right connector and plug the Vied into it. There aren't that many connectors under the seat. I don't have any tips.
I put xied's on my 08 Heritage and, going by memory, I think the battery had to come out for the rear sensor. I know the front was easy peasy but the rear was a little more work.

I don’t see an alternative other than removing the battery and support tray to get to the connection.
A little poking and prodding and I finally found the rear o2 connection under the right side of the oil bag. Some gentle finger manipulation 🙄 under the bag and there it was, clipped to something under there. A gentle pry dislodged the connection. Saved a bunch of grief by not removing the battery and mounting tray.

Looking at the HD service manual helped. Strange place to put it but at least I was able to figure it out. Cable should be here soon. Once I get the settings where I want them I’ll slide a heat shrink tube on the front one as it’ll be hanging in the breeze.
I understand that but I had a set on my 2010 Ultra for two years with no issues. A true tune may be in the cards in the future but for now these should do the trick.
Glad you got it worked out without having to remove the battery and tray. As most things Harley, it just shouldn't be that difficult. Mine was simply under the seat, not the oil bag.
