Default Rush 1.75

I know this horse has been beat to death, but I have a newb question. I have heard a few different responses from different dealers about this question. If I am JUST putting on the Rush 1.75" slipons, do I need to SERT or Power Command it so its not running TOO lean? I am not doing the Stage 1 A/C yet, unless I have to buy a programmer, then I will put one on since I am spending the money for a programmer. Let me know guys, surely there is some of you out there that is running that setup that can tell me if they are having any problems. Oh, almost forgot the scoot is a 07 FXSTC.

When I put my 2 1/4" Rushs on last spring, the dealer said I didn't have to do it if I didn't want to.
But justthe other day he told me that if I did it now, I would have to remap it.

The dealer I bought mine from recommended not doing it, but they said if I did, the waranty was still valid. Two other dealers said they have done a lot on the 07's with no problems. I spoke to Rush, they said the same slip ons fit the 07's and 08 customs (mine is an '08). Rush did say that if you go over the 1.75" baffles, you may have some issues, so I went with the 1.75". They are plenty loud enough, nice rumble, and I have had no problems with them at all after 400 miles.

Ditto the plenty loud on these. I was asking Jamie at Fuelmoto if I shouldn't go with 2" baffles or bigger, and he said "the Rush1.75 is louder than you think". He was right.

1.75s will work without the need to re-map. I did this originally.

I thought it needed to be louder so I went with 2.25s, K&N intake and a PCIII. Much happier now!

I've got 2 3/4 rush bikes on my 07 deluxe, I did they stage 1 flash download and an air filter and my bike runs great not too lean, preformance is better too. The sound is awsome real deep and throaty. Also none of the above messed with my warrenty.

My 1.75's are plenty loud and I notice a slightincrease in mid-range torque with the Stage One and Cobra Fi2000. The remap wasn't necessary until I put the bigger air filter on. I do get alot of decel pop though.

I was told that I would not have to do anything else with the Rush slipos and 2" baffles, so that is what I ordered. I also have a 2007 FXSTC.
