I'm going in for my 15K service and wantto take advantage of replacing the pads now and have heard of new types of pads that are "dustless". This would be great to minimize brake squeak as well as keeping my whitewalls cleaner. Can anyone recommend a pad type and where tobuy them? My dealer wasn't much help other than going to stock Harley pads.
Lyndall Z-Plus pads. I have them on my Night Train, and they perform WAY better than the stock pads, don't kick off much dust, and after over 20000 kms, I still have well over 50% left on the front and over 75% left on the rear set.
They're widely available. My dealer actually srtocks them, but I buy them online 'cause it's cheaper.
Lyndall Racing Brakes are formulated with a new space age materials no ferrous material in the pad. Makes LRB the friendliest brake pads on the market for polished rotors and there is no pad dust. #1 Brake Pads!!!
