Hi all
need help badly. My 2006 softail Springer is giving me error 562 with check engine and battery icon on .
ive replaced to new battery , same again.
now replaced the regulator same again.
Ive checked at battery while i got the code with bike running and get 14.1 volts , so that means my charging is supposed to be good.
any help would be appreciated. I do not want to replace stator as reading was good on acv coming out.
Any ideas.
Thanks
Joe
Reread my post carefully and post back. So far I haven't a clue.

Still scratching my head. Bike is good. Problem is, it doesn't know it. Must be a connection on further.
Dont understand it, did a trip 2 months ago to Italy, did 2000 miles had no issue. How come charging system checks good, battery is good. Still i get code po562 and check engine and battery icon on , what else can be causing error.
This code is generated when voltage drops below 11 at 2000 rpm for over 5 seconds.
Of course, bike will still run at that
Connects at ignition switch dirty, the on/off on the bars, a bad wire, connection at ecm relay or ecm fuse, the power ground coming off ecm. Or the ecm plug.
Lot of variables like milage, bike been in wreck, flooded under water, weather and condition bike is subjected to.
