Default Trouble Code Help

Good evening everyone. I sure can use some help here I have three codes that I can not clear. They are as follows
P0113 Air intake sensor high/open
P0118 Engine Temp Sensor High/open
P0123 Throttle position sensor 1 high/open

I have replaced all three and I am still not able to clear the codes. All the parts are genuine Harley Parts. Does any one have ideas on how to clear and keep them coming back? Thank you

Sorry, about your troubles. I HATE electrical issues... but take them on when necessary...

I have no idea about your comfort/skill in working on motorcycles, so I have to ask...

Are the codes showing as historic or active codes..?

Are you clearing them properly...?

If you are clearing the codes properly and/or they are showing as active codes, not historic codes, after the mentioned sensors are changed out, it appears the ECM believes that the condition still exists...

Have you done any work/mods on the bike that could affect the wire harness(es) in the areas of the sensors or their wires....??

I am not an electrical expert, but I always start with checking grounds when electrical gremlins pop up that seem to make no sense. On vehicles with a computer of any kind, low or intermittent voltages, can/will cause random "issues".

Then I would check the plug to the ECM itself. Make sure it is clean, corrosion free, and has no bent pins.

Once I was sure the battery, all positive and ground cables are clean & tight, and the ECM is properly connected to the harness...

I would check sensor's wiring for damage. I would focus on any areas where the wires from the affected sensors are closely run together, looking for wire pinching/chafing issues. I would pull out my multi meter and start searching for open circuits/shorted wires.

Electrical issues can be very frustrating.... I just suck it up when when one develops on one of my bikes.... I make a plan, go through the possible causes systematically, and I stick to it until I find a cause... Persistence and patience are key when trying to find an electrical issue...

Good luck with your diagnosis and report back what you find... that way we all get to learn from your repair...
