Default Can't Find 5/16x24 mirrors for my 1991 Springer

Can't Find 5/16x24 mirrors for my 1991 Springer. I broke the left side mirror and need to buy two that match. The one on the right needs to have 5/16x24 threads on the stem. The only ones with that thread I was able to find online were some $80 each HD brand. Aren't there any after market brands that have the right mirrors for this bike. I know I can't be the only rider who needs these mirrors.. And I know there must be lots of bikes with the right side turn signal attached to the mirror shaft with a special nut. Am I really the only one with this problem. Help Please.

Thanks for that link. One of those mirrors will apparently work with my bike. $58 a pair. It's extremely hard to find mirrors that will work with the turn signal mount, they have to be the 5/16x24 thread. If you have a bike with that mirror turn signal mount take my advice and don't break one of them. Pretty much the only mirrors you are going to find are going to be Harley brand and they are going to be expensive. Most of them are $80 or more each.

Or..... you can move the turn signals down to the triple trees next to the fork.....

I've always hated the turn signals attached to the mirrors, so when I bought my '01 Springer, the first thing I did was move the turn signals...

Did you "move them" or "remove them".... ? My old eyes don't see them in your pic.....

Maybe you put them with your front fender...

I wonder how many people on the road today know what the hell we are doing when we use hand signals...???

I use them once in awhile, and always wonder if when I signal for a right turn, if the guy behind me thinks I'm flipping him off, just using the wrong finger...

I like the idea of moving the turn signals lower. What do you have them attached to. I see a little bracket that your light is attached to but I can't see what that is attached to.
Also I had thought about trying to rethread a 5/16x20 bolt to 5/16x24 but on second thought I figured that was probably a crazy idea. But since someone else thinks it can be done I decided to try it. I don't want to mess up any mirrors so I found a bolt with 20 threads and I have a 5/16x24 die. And it worked. So I might just get the mirrors with the wrong thread (left side doesn't matter) and rethread the right side mirror. Thanks for the ideas.

I have also thought the same thing about the right turn hand signal. I like the turn signals.
