Now that my engine is really close to were I want it as far a power and torque .Im starting to look at the cosmetics .Ive always thought Primary 3"Belt Drive. And the cool look .Does any 1 here have a Primary Belt Drive .Or no any one that does.I think it would look hottt powder coated black on my 07 train. Pro's and Con's pls .Warranty issues? Can I even get 1 that would marry up with my bike ? Imput appreciated

Looks great on show bikes. I wouldn't want a pant leg to get caught in there. Kiss the foot/ankle goodbye.

They look good but can be dangerous. There are some open look guards available that keep toes, fingers and stuff out of the belt/pully area that don't look too bad.

 

I'm going to put one on mine once they are available. Primo told me to check back in two months and BDL said it would be after the first of the year. I think I will go with Primo anyway as I like the looks of their products better.

I have ridden THOUSANDS of miles with an open belt....and still got my leg, ankle and foot, the worst thing I have ever seen is a chewed up pant leg........course I guess if you wore bell bottoms, or sansabelt slacks, it might get ya

 

You will have to relocate your kickstand. This is a friends 2003 Fatboy with 3" primo.

One more thing to worry about when riding....

 

Loseing a belt? Or the set up in general? Or both?
