Stage I on today
got the kit at my local stealer today, put it all together on the bike, man that backing plate sure is ugly. wish it was chrome or somethin, may have to eventually take it all off and rattle can the thing black or somethin. the install was as easy as I thought it would be, can't wait for the locktite to dry so i can give her a test run tomorrow.

They make a chrome or a wrinke black backer plate for the SE air cleaner P/N 29510-05 for Chrome for$39.95 and P/N 29586-06 for wrinkle black for $34.95

whew, didn't know that, I'll have to order up a black one when I service the filter next.
crock, I almost bought one of those black pearl, I really like how it pops in the sun.....I ended up with my black cherry pearl though, it looks black from a distance, & deep red in the sun....I'm lookin forward to pictures of yours when you get it
