Im thinking Ive decided on the DNA ape hangers for my 2006 Night Train. Ive come across this Ebay deal thats already pre-wired with the connections on them, and comes with Drag Specialties cables. Im just not sure about the seller (chassis.shop). Ive seen 1 comment on here that a guy got the shaft from him. Looks like he had a couple of shops thats closed down. Grips Choppers and Altamont Customs in Toledo Ohio. But Ebay guarantees the sell right? Thoughts on this kit?
Ebay owns PayPal, so if you have a problem with Ebay, PayPal isn't going to do any better. I personally could not buy an item like that without actually touching the product first!!
^This, and good luck getting a warranty out of them. There's better out there, take your time, spend a lil extra money, it'll be worth it in the long run, and cheaper because you won't be doing it twice.
Those are u-u-ugly. Not to mention that welded bars have been known to snap off ocasionally.
Agreed. Ugly indeed. So many better choices out there for sure. To the OP Robreynolds.....take a look at this video before you make a final decision. The chick in the video has those bars on her NightTrain and they look like ****. They are too large of a diameter in my opinion for an FX style front fork and just look kinda off....kinda weird. Of course your opinion may vary.
The 1-1/2 size of the DNA bars is kind of why Im looking at those. The front end on my bike is not stock. Ill attach a picture of it. The forks on my bike are a good bit larger than the stock ones. You can see the 1-1/4 T bars look skinny on them.
