I've used Pecard Leather dressing on worn, dry leather that needed help.
I put a coating of Pecard on the leather, then go over it with a heat gun (on low and not too close) just to then warm the leather. You can see the leather absorb the leather dressing. Then I buff with a clean rag. Repeat as necessary.
On leather I'll be wearing or on seats that are in good repair, I use Chamberlain's Leather Milk...
The product brand used is probably less important than making sure you don't neglect leather in the first place, and use some quality product to keep it from drying out..
