Front brake light not working

Front brake light not working
2006 FXSTSi brake wire has a voltage drop. It's probably in the switch itself. It looks like a PITA to fix. Has anyone fixed the handbrake switch, or can I just replace it?

I replaced my 04. Just blanket the tank and go slow and take pictures. I didn't fish your part but later ones just plug.
Mine was cut wires, soldier, wrap a couple tight wraps of plastic tape and shrinkwrap.
I as usual then sealed ends of shrink with rtv black.
There is a little V bronze spring clip that holds switch in place. Be sure it's in place. Tight working in that little clam shell.
