The from what it appeared the clutch snapped or it broke…but the guys in the dealership really didn’t give a full explanation on what was wrong with the bike
If the clutch cable snaps you won’t have a clutch. I can only imagine that if it all of a sudden got loose (clutch becomes noticeably easier to engage/disengage) the cable might have been hung up somewhere and in pulling on the cable or in flexing the cable in a turn it was released.
How long have you had the bike? Has the clutch always been difficult to engage?
I’m not familiar with the clutch on this bike but if it wasn’t something to do with the cable then it moves the issue down into the actuating of the clutch or clutch pack itself.
hey dude!
it appears to be an issue with the newer soft tail modles.
I have to constantly "tighten my clutch line"
The bottom left of the cable yoy will see a cylinder type thing.
take off the clamps and pull that plastic part up.
then you will see a red clip, pinch that clip to where it opens and unlocks.
then you either pull or push your cable till your clutch is tight, then push that clip in to "lock it in place"
It's better if i show you, not sure if you have a insta or not but I can take a video to show you what I do to tighten my clutch.

check the red clip on the clutch cable they are known for breaking. if this happens you will have NO clutch at all till the little red clip is replaced. yep harley let this little piece of plastic take your clutch away. cheap on their behalf. they charged me 16 bucks for that clip, just wanted a spare

You don't mention the year of your bike. If your Low Rider S is a '20-'23 M8 Low Rider S, with the plastic clutch cable adjuster, it would appear your upper clutch adjuster broke. I have read there have been issues with the plastic parts in that adjuster.
If you work on your own bike, or maybe at your next scheduled service, you can look into adding one of these.
I never used one, as I don't have a bike with the plastic clutch cable adjuster, but I have read many a good review on them.
NOTE: They don't list fitment for the M8 FXLRS bikes, but check the parts finder, I believe they use the same plastic upper clutch adjuster as the '22-'23 baggers.
