Which air cleaner.
I like round not oval. That said I really like my Trask. It did have a downside. The cheap Chinese filter it comes with was too restrictive for my build and it hit a wall at 120/120 hp/torque. Fortunately k&n makes one that fits and it ended up doing 127/126 hp/torque. The opening to the throttle body gives it that venturi effect and it covers the screws. Its magnetic.

Fire bro! That looks dynamite! 1000%

Yeah I like it, it is a kickass AC. The magnetic part is sort of like a mini velocity stack and it covers the mounting screws.
Pricey tho.

I'm looking at getting a new air cleaner for my 124" build and was considering this Trask but not if it's only good to 120-130hp.
Can't say better or worse but my 88 and 96 has the screaming eagle kit, which at the time came with K&N. K&N says they can go forever But I replaced each one once when doing other big projects and just spending money. But that was after 15 years or so.
Not sure what they are doing today, but I would probably buy SE with whatever filter it comes with, assuming you can be replaced with K&N later. If not I still might, cause I don't want to spend to much time on air cleaners.
Anything but one of those open air filters.
