Default Riser Bushing Report

Several weeks ago I posted asking about the pros and cons of replacing OEM rubber riser bushings on my '00FLSTC with polyurethane. I believe there were as many positive advice as the were negative.
Why change? The only time I felt the (stock) bars move was when I was sitting on it pushing with my feet I could feel 1/2 inch forward movement. Probably didn't need to change. Except for right fingers numbing.
I removed the existing bushings and found polyurethane not stock OEM rubber. I installed the new poly's, pain in the butt lining up riser bolts working alone but I got it. Torqued everything to spec.
I know some posters asked me to report because I have had extensive cervical and lumbar disc reconstruction, perhaps others have had similar surgeries.
Happy to report bars are tight, no forward movement and no more numbing of the throttle side fingers.

Appreciate the report back. That is very interesting.
I have the same bushings waiting for my '02, that is a motivator to get to it.

Zero vibration from the bushings. I went with the 12.00 Amazon bushings just to try them. They are staying on. They can sell the $60 bushings to someone else.

$12 and they vibrate less than stock? Money well spent! Per chance, which Amazon bushings did you get? Think I might go order a set just to try.
