I just purchased a 2005 Heritage with ape hangers. I am going to change this bike back to standard handle bars. A fellow on Craigs list had a complete take off stock handle bars, clutch cable and throttle cables.I have a fully equiped shop but this is my first Harley and I have not done a replacement like this before.Any advice or tricky things to watch out for on this type replacement? Nothing to serious other than if it has apes on now it might have had electrical extension put on it under the tank which means your gonna have to remove them or shorten it back up to stock.
