What you are referring to as the "bottom" or low beam setting, he refers to as the middle.

In his explanation:
the top is the high beam 'on' setting
the middle is the low beam 'on' setting
the bottom is pressing and releasing the 'low beam' setting to flash the brights

The reason it makes no sense is because my switch is jacked up, lol

If you purchase a new switch module, make sure you get the updated part number. If you go the eBay route, you might end up with another dud.

Ok Doc
Here is a question for you. The left-hand control has many functions i.e. turn signal, trip, horn, hi-lo beam yet there are really only 2 wires for all that [red/white and black/white]; how is that accomplished? Just curious...... I like magic, but is that little circuit board behind the rocker switches really that smart?
