Do know anyone with an IR camera? These can be helpful for high current draws. as something that uses power creates heat. The heat signature may show up with the camera. On cars with bad alternator diodes it shows up well.

He said if he unplugs battery, it is good and starts. So that should rule out battery. Unless you think it should be able to handle it. I don't know what level of draw is acceptable

What about pulling one fuse at a time?

Unfortunately with a bike that has a BCM the fuse count is not like the old bikes separating out lights, accessories, ECM, etc. One fuse is for the tender and data link connector. One fuse is for powering the ancillary stuff that is on the CAN bus and the main fuse powers all of it and the BCM.

As the BCM powers just about everything pulling the main fuse isn't going to prove very much, IMO.

He also said it drains over night.
So no, it doesn't.

The oxygen sensor heaters are switched ON when the ignition switch is turned to ON, and then, after a few seconds, or a couple of minuets, they are turned OFF.

It draws too much to alway be on. The BCM is probably bad. Older bike would be the ECM .

Remove its connector and check. It will throw a code but should run without heater on. Completely unplugging it on a car will send most to limp mode.

I have been leaning towards the bcm. At least one person thinks it might be that instead of a battery or some other simple thing like voltage regulator or stator reverse drawing etc. I wish that's what it was. I was thinking of de pinning the bcm one at a time but I think I will just take it in to a different shop this time and have them change out the bcm. And be treated like a maroon there too. I would like to thank you guys for your input. Hope I can help someone one day.

I tried that also. I could see some warmer spots but only by the 40 amp fuse. Im holing we get a few more colder nights and the shop heat is off. So maybe then I can spot it.

He installed a manual cut out switch. And I believe battery then holds up. Unless I am mixing up with another thread

You can argue maybe it should handle the draw, I don't know.

If the bike starts after being hooked up again I lean to not the battery. Unless the bike should handle that draw. I do not know what an acceptable draw is.

Does the battery draw drop to normal levels when you disconnect the O2 sensors?
