So guys, what do you think the secret to the Mammoth seat is? It doesn't LOOK much different than a LePera barebones..I wonder how they made it so comfortable?
So Micheal, is that a Heritage with solid wheels or a Fat Kid with Heritage fender and seat? And where are you blinkers? You're not, gasp...running illegally are you?
Marsh
It's a Fatboy, with a Heritage fender. Yes, I don't have any turn signals but they aren't required in West Virginia. I guess the lack of inspection sticker, DOT helmet, open V&H Longshots, and illegal height bars kinda makes up for it though. West Virginia is pretty good to bikers though, they've never said a word to me about anything and i'm always riding around LEOs. Here is the list for what's allowed in WV.

Helmet - Required
Eye Protection - Required
Rearview Mirror - Required
Brakes - Required At Least One Wheel
Handlebar Height - Max. 15" Above Seat
Passenger Seat - Required for passenger
Passenger Footpegs - Required for passenger
Passenger Handhold - Not Required
Turn Signals - Not Required
Speedometer/Odometer - Not Required
Headlight Use Daytime Burn - Required
Periodic Inspection - Required
Headphones - Not Prohibited

I'm from the southern part, Marsh. Mingo County, it's about 1 and 1/2 hours south of Charleston (State capital, not CharlesTown)

No, there is a town in the state called CharlesTown too. Everyone just always gets mixed up when talking about them, that's why I was trying to clarify. [&:]

West Virginia, you can't get away from that place! I grew up in Huntington.

I would say stick with the stock fatbot solo seat, thats what I think fits the fatboy.
Jeff
Funny....When I bought the FB from a fellow inNY, he also gave me all the OEM equipment that came with it after his upgrading spree.
I had the orginal (brand new) seat stuck in the shed and the crazy thing , I was trying to unload itforpitance .....$75.

I washed the bike yesterday and feeling motivated I dug the seat out of the shed and put on.
(I unscrewed the passenger seat postand put the solo seat on.)

It does look good....I will post a few pics later.
I will ride like this for a while until I figure it out....I just might like it.

Thanks to all you guys foryour input.

Fred

Here's another vote for the C&C. I just got my Lo Pro and I love it. Really nice company to work with.
