I currently have a Danny Gray seat on my bike (just bought this bike last month). Just 30 minutes into a 4-hour trip I knew I needed a new seat. The Danny Gray is so hard and uncomfortable. Looks great on the bike but as for comfort, there is no way I could make any trip more than 30 minutes from home on it.
Looking at a Mustang 14 inch Vintage Solo Seat. Seems they are priced competitively ($375 to $390 range).
I am thinking the 17.5 inch wide seat would be more comfortable than a 14 inch, but with the Fat Boy Lo, a 17.5 would stick out too much and probably look ridiculous. Whereas a 14 inch will still stick out some, not nearly as bad?
Anybody have any experience with this particular seat or can recommend another that would make long trips more comfortable?
