Default 09 Fat Boy seat

I have searched and there are MANY threads on this, but I haven't found the answer I need. I have a 2009 Fat Boy and will probably never ride 2 up. I need a solo seat that is comfortable and will move me back a little. I like the width of the stock seat but it isn't very comfortable for 2 hour rides.

It doesn't have to lower me...just move me back a little. I am 6'3" but only a 34" inseam. I have the Kuryakyn floorboard extenders that move the floorboards out 1" and forward 1" and am fairly comfortable now. I need a better seat and if it can move me back an inch or two it would be perfect.

Thanks for the suggestions and sorry for yet another fatboy seat question.

I don't know if the Mustang moves you back, but it is more comfortable.

Corbin's Hollywood Solo is what I run. The back rest makes it super comphy but the seat itself is just ok. It sure does look cool.

could have the gel added to your seat to make it more comfortable

I have the Mustang 14" vintage solo seat and It's better long distance for me. I'm 6'1 with 23 inseem, so I know what your going through. As far as I know for what will put you back 1 & 1 inch, would be a lepera siloette gel. Just don't plan on going for 100 plus long ride or sore *** mode will hit ya.

I'll agree that the 09 seat is less than comfortable on longer rides. I like the 2 up looks, don't know if I'll ever ride with a passenger. Maybe I'll talk my wife into it one day. Any more comfortable 2 up seats out there?

I took off the passenger pillion and the riding position seems better although I only rode a couple of miles. Seems that I need something that hugs the fender at the back of the seat and doesn't push me forward for the best riding position.

Then it is just about which seat is the most comfortable. I hear a lot of good things about the Mustang Seats.

Thanks for all the replies.
