Question for y’all. I have a 93 FLSTC and after research it seems to show these earlier bike up to 95 has a left grip that’s either held on by glue or a set screw. However, I got a specific grip I want to go with that was for 96+ and they did not make them for pre ‘95. The throttle side works just fine and nothing needs to be changed, however, since the 96+ grips have the switch housing that hold the grip in place, is there anyone that makes a switch housing with square switches that allows the newer model grips? I know I can change out to the 96+ switch housings but they are rounded switches and frankly, I like my square switches more.
Anyone ever done a pre 96 to 96+ grip conversion on their bike? If so, what did you do? Current Pre 96 Grips held on with Set Screw 96+ Grips with part that is supposed to be held in by switch housing
