Hey man no disrespect to your wife but, if this is what you want do it. My wife may not understand everything I do to my bike, but it is mine and for me to enjoy. As long as I am not spending the bill money, mods are fair game. Hope to see your mod pics soon.
passenger, only.but i got one of those wifes that does'nt always know what cool is.lol!i need other folks descriptions and pics to help me sell this particular mod that i am unsecretly plotting.i have showed her your pic,and that's the look and attitude i am going for.she needs to see that apes look good and ride good too.
Wow....I'm glad I don't have to ask my wife for "permission"...that would suck!! LOL
She's probably afraid you're going to look too cool.As far as comfort I had beach bars before and find the apes to be more comfortable.I've never experienced the numbness in the hands like some of the haters talk about.
i am not about to ask permission,i just want her to see that its ok and universally accepted for the bike to not look factory.her tastes and mine are totally diffrent.
Well, duh!! LOL Welcome to marriage. I'm just pullin' your chain, man...it's all good. I used to have 16's on mine...I loved them, but, to me, they just threw the look of my bike out of proportion. I'm have 12's now and they are perfect. My hands are exactly where I want them.
Ive had my apes for about 2 or 3 months now, I love em, and will never go back, ran a few hours yesterday & didnt have any isses at all. btw, took it up to 90mph not a care in the world.
