Height when adding SE/Ohlins suspension
Hi all,
I’m able to get a good deal on the softail screamin eagle ohlns reservoir rear and front soft tail suspension for my 2024 far boy, but this is my first suspension upgrade and I had a question about bike height (and it looked like several forum members have these shocks-I know other good options exist, but I’m primarily interested in these shocks for now).
How much should I expect the seat height to increase when installing the shocks? And would handlebar height increase by a similar amount when installing the front shocks as well? I don’t mind a bit of extra clearance and height, but I like the current height of my handlebars relative to my seating position right now- hoping that wouldn’t change much.
Thanks for any insights.

SE Monoshock is 13.1inch over 12.6inch stock length.
Installing it will not affect your Seat, bars and controls ergonomics what so ever.
Your bike will gain a slight increase in rear ride height, making it a bit more aggressive. But that's about it.
I've got the SE monoshock and a 260 tire which raises the rear of the bike considerably. There was no felt difference between a 240 tire and stock, vs SE ohlins and 260 tire.
You'll be fine.
Also wrong forum, FLFBS questions go in the 2018+ Softail section.
