103 Motors
Just a big FWIW..
The factory 103" was a Twin Cam engine. It was the third, main version of the Twin Cam engine first introduced in 1999 models as an 88" engine.
It was first introduced in the 2003 CVO Road King FLHRSEI2. It became the OEM engine in the 2010 Electra Glide Ultra Limited, and was available the next year, 2011, in various touring models.
The 103" Twin Cam engine was available in certain Softail and Dyna models starting in 2012.
The M8 engine (107") was introduced into the Touring line in the 2017 model year, replacing the Twin Cam engine. It replaced the Twin Cam engines in the Softail models starting in 2018, the same year the Dyna models were discontinued.
So 2017 was the last year of the 103" Twin Cam engine production, and it was only available in the Softail or Dyna models.
