Holy crap, 20 years
Howdy folks,
First post in some time. I made my first post here on this forum 20 years ago the day after tomorrow after purchasing my first Harley, a 2005 Fat Boy
4 years later I traded it in on a new 2009 bike. A new Fat Boy!
I've been riding that one for 16 years. Loved every mile.
Today I rode out to Lancaster HD to look at some new 2025 models, took a couple test rides, and traded it in on a new 2025.....FAT BOY!
Just cant see myself on any other model
These things have come a long way since 2005. LOTS more power and torque, lots of new bells and whistles, new colors and styles, but it still manages to still be a Fat Boy.
Fatter than ever!
I bought Whiskey fire/vivid black. They have to bring it in from another store so I have to wait a couple LONG days.
Now I have to start thinking about stage 1 upgrades. Its a gorgeous bike, but far too quiet.
Will post some pix when it hits my driveway
Guess I'll have to change my sig at the bottom since its only true for another 2 days...

not a lot for 16 years, but I was off the road for a number of years and couldnt ride. Kept the bike running but no riding.
