2025 Handlebars
I know the handlebar controls changed this year, I think they match some of the touring models? can someone clear up what exactly on aftermarket handlebars I need to look for?
Thrashin has handlebars marked '24+ for the softails, and mentions they are drilled to match the new controls. Is this just for the internal wire routing or do Harley controls have those little anti rotational nipples that need a corresponding hole in the bar?
The reason I ask is that I've done some handlebar changes on metric bikes and dirt bikes and I'll do anything to avoid drilling or cutting into the bars again, without a drill press it's a pain in the ***. I know most people filed off the nipple and used electrical tape and torque to get the controls on tight but on these ~$250 t bars for Harley I'm expecting something a little more refined, maybe even a reach around.

Looks like the TBW plug might be the difference. The "2024+" model purports to be compatible and is missing the castle cuts on the throttle side.
