Guys I offshore fish with all use Frogg Toggs. They swear by them. Theycome witha little carry bag and they do crunch-up pretty small. The material is suppose to "breath" as well.
I bit the bullet and just ordered a set from Outdoor Boss for $59 (no tax, free shipping). Already got notification that the rainsuit is in the mail.
I bought a set of these, and have been very happy with them. The pants have heat shields in the legs, and stirrups to hold them down to your boots. They pack into themselves, which creates a ball about 8' across, but flat.
I just got back from riding to Sturgis last month and we got caught in rain for 106 miles in Iowa and I used the gortex set from bass pro and I swear I never got wet and never sweat ! I highly recommend them. They dont flap around the legs or hit your pipes on the right side. and have a draw string in the coat and fit snug around wrist.jmop

Well, I was not happy with the frogg toggs. They ripped in the straddle, and got burned on the exhaust. I know a lot of people are happy with them, and they did keep me dry once.
I paid 40-50 dollars for them. So, I think that HD's $100 rain suit is woth the money. They look more durable, have heat shields, and reflective.
I was looking at rain suits today. I may get the overpass II gear.
