Heritage Ignition Delete

I’ve gotten used to not having a separate ignition switch on my ‘24 Street Glide and had the flash done to delete the ignition switch on my last two Ultra-Limited’s. Can a 2012 Heritage be flashed to delete the ignition switch the same way? (It already has the fob security system)

I’ve left the ignition switch on once already and drained the battery and, since I go back and forth between the two bikes, I’m sure it won’t be the last time.

So what is the igntion switch delete? The heritage has the big **** on the dash? I like that, easy to replace and robust compared to kill switch.

I thought I’d follow up here in case someone else is considering the same mod.

I just got back from the dealer and they were indeed able to flash the module to disable the ignition switch on my 2012 Heritage. Now the ignition turns on & off with the engine stop/run switch like it does on my ‘24 Street Glide and the newer Heritages.

While they were connected to the bike they also performed a couple of ECM updates. I know this mod doesn’t appeal to everyone, but I like it and find it pretty convenient, and it eliminates the possibility of me leaving the ignition switch on and draining the battery.
