Trying to Decide on Which Lowrider S
Hello everyone,
I haven't been on here in many years. I had a wreck in 2015 which almost killed me. I was on my sportbike, long story, but I ended up getting run over. Anyway, I'm back and looking for a Lowrider S, trying to find one used, lowest price possible, 2023+ preferably. I test rode a new 117 and I was blown away by how nice it was, handling, power, everything. I've owned a 2012 Iron, 2007 Nightrod, and a Yamaha Warrior as far as cruisers go. I raced sportbikes for several years, but because of my permanent injuries I'm not able to ride a bike with aggressive rearsets anymore. Mid controls are fine for me. So I purchased a Yamaha FZ09 to satisfy my sportbike itch (sit up mid controls bike). But now looking to satisfy the cruiser itch.
I was looking at 2016/17 S bikes and then the 114 and newer 117 bikes. What pisses me off about the used bikes is that some of these dealers throw 2 to 3k of fees on top of the used bikes. Found a 2023 S for $11900 with 5000 miles, and by the time all said and done the bike was 16k. So then they tried to push me on a new one. Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
