I had a barebone one until i had it modified, I took a bike jell pad and redid the seat with it and it works for long trips just fine.

I had a bare bones but it was to uncomfortable so I bought a mammath choppers ice age seat. The seat is very comfortable and it came with stitched pinstripping and still has a good look to it.

I have a Barebones with gel.Looks good,but not recommended by me for anything other than short hops.I've also heard the theory on this forum that the gel conducts heat from the oil tank up through the seat.This could be true,I think you could fry eggs on my seat sometimes.I justinstalled a Mammoths Choppers Ice Age seat.I hope to ride on it this weekend and see if it's as comfortable as some members say.

I sent my original seat to Danny Gray in California and they modified it to my specs including gel. Their phone number is (888) 443-2669, ask for Sherry. If you read biker mags you will note they make close to half of the custom seats.

Got a Barebones without gel and its not too bad.I can do all day rides on it but anything longer i put the Corbin classic solo on.Looks low and lean so if thats your thing go for it.
