What about the Fatbob's? I still haven't seen one of those either...
FatBobs are out and about . Saw two at Vacaville Harley the other day , a flat black on with mid set pegs and a real nice red one with forward mounted pegs . They looked good but won't be replacing my Deuce with one !
I'm glad I didn't put the money down for the Rocker. It could just be a myth that HD is actually going to build them. I'm sure there are a lot of pizzed of people waiting for their new ride. January? Just wait, it will be longer.
I went to my dealer this morning and had a discussion about this. He gave me a download that all dealers received from harley on Aug 30 2007. (I tryed to scan an upload but had issues)This is word for word what it says:

Thanks for that "deergrizzly". Seems after all that the dealer may have other models on the floor they will have to shift, so I may get my good price for an FXSTC yet. I am glad that HD are not pushing to make these before they are really ready to go. All the bike publications in the UK have raved about the looks of these bikes and said they handle suprisingly well (from the US launch attendance rides). They will be nice to see on the roads (dropping off in the mirrors of my FXSTC - when I get it - through the bends!!).
the only thing that would be excusable for a delay like this would be if they were dropping a NEW/BIGGER motor in it, say like a 104ci. New bike=new motor sounds good to me. Maybe thats why they have postponed the release of the Rockers, making sure all the kinks are out of it before they get it to the public, or it could have been a last minute decision to go with the new/bigger motor as to the cause of the delay of the release of the Rockers.
