HI GUYS/GIRLS just found this site looks excellent Iknow I just got here but I found it in distress last week my friend's bike battery when dead he tried to puch start it to no success so we went and bought a battery from the local HD came back installed it the bike fired right up but all of a suden its got what sounds to be like a rod knock the nike is a 93 heritage with only 12k miles on it any help or ideas thank you

in case anybody might be interested it ended up being the nut that holds the primary chain backed out Happy Ending

 

Glad to hear it worked out. Don't get discouraged by the lack of response, that rarely happens around here.
