hi guys i am new on here and from oz ,i have a 1991 heritage softtail and was looking at getting some 60 spoke rimes for it ,i was wondering if its possible to go to 18 and still retain the stock hardware ,in other words, can i get some 18 wheels that will bolt straight on with out any other mods that will still clear the guards and fit the stock discs, etc and get some nice whitewalls to suit, any info would be great
dave
Hey Dave, First off welcome to the HD Forums. Going to an 18" wheel shouldn't pose any problems because the tires will be lower profile resulting in an overall diamiter that is very close to the stock wheel and tire. Get some pictures posted after the swap we would love to see it.
cheers
