I was out of luck on the warranty thing. According to the guy that I bought the bike from, they were about 5 yrs old. I found a set of V & H longshot HS on ebay with only 800 miles on them. Got them for $183.50 shipped. Now I gotta wait to get them before I can ride. Hopefully I'll have them by this weekend.

Great! I read your posting right after I installed a set of Samson True Duals! Now I'm afraid of poor quality. Since Trash Rat has his problem solved, is anyone having good luck with Samsons?

i've got the black pro-streetBassani's on my NT and think that they're a tremendous perfomance pipe, now they're also "short"so they've got some throat to em but i like thatand i've had some issues with the ceramic coatingso i wraped em which i was gonna do anyway......Joe Martin has some new "money shots" for softails that might look good for your Train.........just trying to help,good luck.

I have about 13k on my Samson true duals. As I posted before, the only problem I have had is a clamp that seperated from the pipe and heat shield about 5 months into running the pipes. I called Samson and they sent me a new heat shield out right away. If I had to buy them again I might go with V&H but when I bought the bike in 06 Samson was the only company putting out these pipes. Overall, I am happy with the pipes, and I think they sound great.
