Well, I cleaned up my rear fender 07 FLSTFw/Led's. Waiting on plate relocate frame to side. Kinda like it w/smoked lens. I really like the low profile rear taillight vs. stock.
That looks really good on there, your right it cleans up the rear quite nicely.
I always hated that light. Harley uses the same stupid light on nearly every bike they make and if you ask me it doesn't look good an any of them. That's probably why it was one of the first things I replaced on my bike.
Thanks for the compliments. The turn signals took about 1 minute to do. Pry the yellow lens off, unscrew bulb, plug in LED and push it on. I suggest the biketronics equalizer and go ahead and get the Tailbones also. Tailbones gives run/brake/turn function to rear signals. Equalizer is for the addition of Led's on front and rear signals. I put in led's on rear only for now to see how bright they are but still put in equalizer. Biketronics equalizer is suppose to not get "hot" like other equalizers. There were some codes set off when I installed Led's but they have instructions to reset, took about 1 minute to reset. Whole project took 30 minutes, hardest thing was getting battery disconnected cuz it is pretty tight getting wrench in there. The blinkers use stock bullets on motorbike (refered to as deuce style) and you just get the top cap w/lens and led. The led is not a bulb but a panel of several led's, alot brighter than stock.
Looks great another thing that would clean it up more is a laid back tag bracket. Custom chrome makes a nice aluminum one. Throw away the rubber spacer and it lays down nice!!
I'm moving it to the swingarm and filling the holes in the future. When I move it next week, just going to lowes and they have black plugs to fill the holes. But ya, that licenes plate is really sticking out right now.
