Mabe something like the Cruisearms from Kuryakyn would help...

http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp...ey&ci=3243

I don't have them but they look like a good solution. Good luck.

I'm running the Mark 4 Cruise Arms on my FatBoy, and they work great.

For added strength and stability they mount directly to existing holes in the frame, and not on the 'floorboards' like some.

I have the MarkIII, they mount to the floorboards and work just fine...still I like the 4 better.

Whether you get the Mark III or IV you'll LOVE them. I don't even use my floorboards anymore except when braking and shifting. Otherwise my foot immediately goes back to the highway peg. Once I grind down the floorboard, I'll switch to forward controls....maybe.

This doesn't take long. I am still trying to realizeI can't laymy Fatboy over as hard as hard as my GS1100E... LOL
There is not a lot of material left in the corners of my floorboards!

I have been pondering those cruise arms also. I personally prefer the simplicity of the MK III's

AMEN to that Road_Clam! I'm on my second set of floor boards on the old Fat Boy! Nothing like scaring the sh*# out of your fellow motorists, not to mention the showers of sparks from the steel blocks I "JB WELDed" to the back corners of the floor boards!! As an advanced riding instructor once told us, "If you're not dragging, you're not leaning."

Back to the topic, I have the Kuryakyn CruiseArms and love them. They fold up in tight places (trailer, ect) and make for very comfortable riding. As a matter of fact, my feet are there 90% of the time.

Ride safe,
God bless our Troops!

Amen to all the above. I "loosely" bolted up my Mark IVs. I've got to pull my exhaust off for some other things. Can't wait to get the cruise pegs going.

Is there a threat of the Cruise arms dragging also while leaned over hard?
